What is Lithium YZR?
It is an innovative concept which incorporates the use of disilicate ceramics, which are constituted by two phases, the amorphous phase that provides translucency and the dispersed crystalline phase that will give the opacity and the incorporation of resistance based on their fillings; therefore, this ceramic is considered an integral vitreous ceramic of high aesthetic performance, which is presented in ingots or tablets. Starting from its chemical composition, Lithium YZR® is constituted by the union of different compound minerals, the main one being silicon oxide in an average of 70% and 15% of lithium dioxide, potassium oxide, zirconium oxide, oxide of zinc, aluminum oxide, magnesium oxide and between 6% other micro fillers.
Studies conducted with the scanning electron microscope by the Advanced Materials Research Center in Mexico (CIMAV). They checked the physical properties of the Lithium YZR® material after being injected with the PF KEEP® press. These studies were carried out by two methods: · UVD (ultra variable pressure detector) · BSE-Comp (retro-scattered electron detector)
INGOTS

HT (High translucency)

 

Useful to make: Inlays, veneers, total or partial monolithic crowns. Available in colors: A1, A2, A3, B1, B4 * The restorations achieve their maximum beauty using the makeup technique.

MO (Average or average opacity)

 

Medium opacity tablet, is indicated to restore vital and non-vital pillars. Useful to realize: Copings and structures for previous bridges of 3 units, indicated the stratification of ceramics on these structures. Available on MO1

LT (Low translucency)

 

Low translucent tablet, this means that the light does not pass through the restoration and with this does not allow the abutment to become evident, which is why it is indicated to restore non vital or endodontically treated teeth. Useful to realize: Total or partial, monolithic crowns with makeup technique. Available in colors A1, A2, A3, B1, C1, C2.

BL (Whitening)

 

Restorations of low translucency, useful when it is required to obtain colors with high chromatic value such as teeth with whitening. Available in colors: BL1, BL2.

What is Luster Color Kit®?

 

It is a sophisticated system based on low-melting ceramic (750 ° C), used to perform 3D makeup on lithium YZR® monolithic restorations. With this technique it is possible to give a depth effect through the application of ceramic translucent masses. Thanks to these effects, your restorations will have an extraordinary color, tone and shine, fulfilling the aesthetic triad (Chroma, Hue & Value).

 

During the cooking process of the monolithic restoration, it is necessary to increase the temperature between the firing and the fusion of the Lithium YZR® material, with this we guarantee the stability of the restoration in an exact way. Luster Color Kit Lithium YZR® offers a low cooking temperature (750 ° C) and a wide range of Thermal Expansion Coefficient. This means that masses of makeup can be used for both metalloceramic restorations, zirconium and lithium disilicate restorations.
